Landfills are overflowing with old PCs and parts
that are NOT EASILY BIODEGRADABLE
and often contain many metals and chemicals that are hazardous and can harm the environment over
time.
Most every aspect of a PC and its components and
peripherals can be recycled.
So whether your old PC/MAC and
peripherals are WORKING or NOT,
let
Enterprise PC
Services
pick them up and properly recycle them
at NO COST*
to you.
We also accept old electronic cables, PDAs, spare parts, UPS's & old UPS
Batteries,
business phone sets/systems, calculators, and other business related
electronics.
(All small peripherals, spare parts, phone sets,
etc must be in boxes for pickup -
NO special packing required.)
 We
are pleased to now offer
Recycling of Inkjet and Laser Toner Cartridges
at
NO
COST to you (no limitation on
who may participate at NO COST).
We will even provide the collection containers and reminder posters for your
office or organization
and will pick up your old cartridges on a regular schedule. Please email

Our Recycling/Reuse
Process:

fully inventory of all
equipment received |

determine what is still
serviceable |
|
all serviceable equipment is
fully tested and reconditioned as needed (all hard drives go thru a rigorous
6-8 hour cycle of erasure, compliant with standards for security used by the
U.S. Government, and formatting to ensure no personal, private, business or
software license related information remains); then either:

offered to charities or
school districts (particularly inner city or other disadvantaged areas), or
to international relief organizations |

resold as certified,
pre-owned equipment |
|
usually a combination of
the above |
|
|
unserviceable equipment,
cables, etc, are stripped and trucked monthly to one of several professional
recycling centers on the east coast which fully recycle every conceivable part
and hazardous substance, ensuring that nothing ever sees a landfill and the
materials are sold to somehow be reused in other products |

for Annual Maintenance Plan Customers in the Washington, DC/Baltimore
Metro Area.
For those who are not an Annual Maintenance Plan customer or are Outside of the Washington, DC/Baltimore Metro Area: Unless otherwise agreed, the cost to pick up is:
* 1-30 systems:
either $15.00 per CPU/Monitor combination and $1.00 per additional peripheral
OR $1.50 per roundtrip mile (as determined
by www.MapQuest.com Fastest Route distance
computation),
whichever is less.
*
31+ systems:
either $12.00 per CPU/Monitor combination and $0.75 per additional peripheral
OR $2.25 per roundtrip mile (as determined
by www.MapQuest.com Fastest Route distance
computation),
whichever is less.
NO
COST for cables or individual spare parts when picked up with other systems.
In all cases, pickup service is
currently limited to East coast areas between Norfolk/Richmond, VA to
Philadelphia and west to the Maryland/West Virginia panhandle & Harrisburg, PA.
Pickups outside of the Washington, DC/Baltimore Metro area are made on a scheduled basis,
